My journey at the University of Memphis began with a foundational year at IEI, which paved the way for my pursuit of a degree in Computer Science. As I approach graduation at the end of 2024, I look back with pride on a journey marked by academic excellence and a consistent presence on the Dean's List

Early in my academic career, I embraced the role of Teaching Assistant for COMP 1900 and COMP 2700 from my third semester onward. This opportunity allowed me to engage deeply with the learning process, grading assignments, proctoring exams, and supporting students with their queries during classes that often had over 40 students.

My time at the university was also enriched by leading three significant group projects:

1- Soccer Ticket Auction: During the second half of my software engineering class, I led a team to develop a robust auction platform within a tight four-week deadline.

2- Academic's List: In my capstone class, I spearheaded the design and creation of a comprehensive website for Dr. Leah Cathryn Windsor, Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics. This project was a testament to our ability to build from scratch, crafting a valuable resource for the Institute for Intelligent Systems and the Department of English.

3- COMP 4081 Web Application: Partnering with a professor, I played a key role in developing a website aimed at streamlining the app creation and submission process for students, while also enhancing the grading efficiency for teachers and TAs..

Seeking to broaden my horizons, I joined the Global Tech Community e-Com and Digital Marketing track. This endeavor culminated in earning certifications from the University of Memphis, Shopify, and Google, further enhancing my skills and industry knowledge.

Reflecting on my time at the University of Memphis, I am grateful for the myriad experiences and the personal and professional growth they have fostered. My journey has been one of continuous learning, leadership, and innovation, and I am excited to carry these experiences forward into my future endeavors.

Clean UML

Got sick of all the diagram apps out there, so I built my own. Built using Rails, Clean UML is a minimalistic app that strips away all the unnecessary clutter. It’s the app I wish existed when I started working on my projects, so I made it happen.

Developed a highly customized e-commerce website using Shopify's Liquid templating language for front-end design. Implemented advanced features and functionality through Shopify APIs, enhancing user experience and site performance.

Tickets Auction

Led the devolopment of a Rails-based auction platform for buying and selling tickets to USL and MLS matches. Integrated real-time bidding and Account managment functions to enhance user experience and transaction reliability.

Academic Lists

Led the development of a Django-based web application enabling academic users to discover and review local businesses and services. Implemented features for personalized recommendations and user reviews to enhance community engagement.
